New Photos of Fracdog's
Dune Buggy
After rebuilding the transmission in my buggy the guys at Oakhill Automotive
added an EMPI adjuster to the end of the rod. This made the alignment and
adjustment of the shifting rod much, much easier. I highly recommend do
this anytime you shorten a chassis.
We cut a hole in the fiberglass body in order to get the shifting rod out of the
tunnel. Luckily, my front tag covers the hole completely and now I have
access if I ever need to remove the shifting rod again.
Oakhill Automotive in Longview, Texas rebuilt my transmission
and did a great job. Many thanks to Clark Jr. If you need any
mechanical work up to a complete buggy, contact Clark @ www.oakhillautomotive.com
